a little about me? sure...

i discovered napster in middle school and listened to a ton of pop punk.
i joined the school bands to play trumpet and played through high school (jazz, wind ensemble, marching band, etc).
i only listened to ska music and dressed like a weirdo through high school.

i lived in santa barbara 2004-2017.
i went to school at UCSB and studies sociology.
i found the campus/community radio station, KCSB-FM 91.9 and spent thirteen years at the station, mostly doing 5...4...3...2...fun!! and as a student i worked as the KCSB publications director, music director, program director and general manager.

i started going to diy shows my first year in santa barbara.
watercolor paintings played it's first show in may 2006 at the pink mailbox.
we started putting on shows at the end of 2006 and i mostly stopped by january 2015.
but i did a few here and there and helped out whenever i could till i left town in august 2017.
i recorded a lot of the shows i organized, played and went to.

watercolor paintings was active as a two-piece quiet band from may 2006 till about july 2013.
i did my first cave babies show in june 2007 and didn't play another until september 2012.
actually, at that first show cave babies show in 2012 i played a vhs tape of me playing five songs
i'm still doing cave babies and you can ask me to play, please?
i played keyboard in a couple band lottery bands in 2013 and 2016. we played only a couple shows.

we started doing food not bombs in isla vista summer 2008.
i took on responsibility for it through august 2017.

from october 2010 to august 2017 i was the membership services coordinator at the SB student housing co-op.

i took a weird break from life for a couple years and spent time hanging out with my folks, not doing much of anything.

i moved to davis, ca to work for solar community housing association in septeber 2019.
started helping with davis food not bombs in october 2019

other things:

i used to faint a lot. i wore a backbrace for 3.5 years in high school. my left lung has partially collapsed at least three times and i've had surgery for it twice.

I'm forever sober. vegetarian since 1997. half persian. jewish. demi, mostly, i think. he&they pronouns.

i like therapy, reading books, playing solitaire, bowling, making videos, collecting things, juggling (can someone help me learn mill's mess?), i really freaken love television and i've worn mismatched socks about every day since 2005.
