i feel really protective of diy when i see things that feel like a cooptation of the ethos and values. but i know i can get cynical too. i guess if people seem to be having an okay time then who am i to say anything. they could have it so much better though, and i just hope that they know that. i'll keep trying to provide an example and folks can make their own decisions.
